Teyana Taylor’s Halloween party came to a halt after a gunshot was heard.
Teyana hosted the party in Sunset rooms in Hollywood. While the party was still going on, three armed men attacked three women with the intention of robbing them. As soon as the security guard present there got hold of the situation, he tried to stop the men. This lead to an exchange of gun fires. Although nobody was injured during the incident, the bullets hit several cars while the three men ran away from the scene.
Both the ambulance and police arrived after a while but the assaulted woman refused medical attention.
Besides this party, Taylor is also about to host a private party on Sunday. She has planned this party with Lenny Santiago (music executive), LaLa Anthony and Karrueche Tran.
Teyana Taylor and Her Retirement-
The African-American singer–songwriter is also an actress, dancer, choreographer, director and model. Teyana Me Shay Jacqueli Shumpert will be 31 years old in the coming December. Her mother, Nikki Taylor is also her manager. She married Iman Shumpert in 2016 and has two kids with him.
Taylor made her debut on national television when she appeared on MTV’s show, My Sweet Sixteen. Before that, she signed a deal with Pharrell Williams(American musician and recording artist). Her solo debut song, “Google Me” reached the 90th position on the US Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. Since then she has delivered some hit songs like Gonna Love Me (2018), Maybe ( 2014), How You Want It (2020) and Issues/Hold On (2018). She has also acted in several films and TV shows, like Stomp They Yard, The After Party, Star, The Love Section, The Startup, Hit The Floor and many more. She has won BET Awards and BET Hip-Hop Awards in 2020 for Video Director of the Year. She also owns a clothing line, Fade2Fit that sells workout clothes.
Teyana Taylor’s The Last Rose Petal tour will be starting on 7 November in California. This tour will consist of total of 12 performances that will mark her retirement from the music industry. She posted on instagram to announce that she was retiring and said-“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. However for every goodbye God makes the next hello closer. Come out and watch me, leave it all out on the stage… One last time… Just for you & as my last rose petal falls, I say farewell.”
She did hint earlier that she might leave the music industry. Last year, in an interview she said that she felt really underappreciated as an artist which frustrated her.
