Kris Tyson, a member of the MrBeast crew, is facing serious allegations of sending inappropriate and sexual messages to a minor. This controversy has taken social media by storm after YouTuber Prism42 shared screenshots of the alleged texts in a video titled “Chris Tyson Talked Inappropriately to a 13-Year-Old.” Clips from this video have gone viral on X, shared by @DramaAlert.

Prism42’s video claims that Kris Tyson met a 13-year-old during a MrBeast giveaway and later sent inappropriate messages. Another YouTuber, Breone, also brought forward similar allegations, showing a Discord screenshot where Tyson made sexual jokes to a minor in 2019 when the minor was 15 years old.

These allegations have quickly spread on social media, with related posts garnering millions of impressions on X within hours. In addition to the accusations of pedophilia, Prism42’s video highlighted problematic jokes Tyson made on social media directed at the minor.

One particularly troubling screenshot from 2018, when X was still Twitter, shows Kris Tyson joking about sending nudes to the minor. The post read: “I posted some fire noods for you. Pls no share.” This post, among others, has sparked significant backlash.

Breone’s video, dated July 22 and titled “Kris Tyson Got Caught Talking To A Minor.. ITS BAD,” has also gone viral, amassing over half a million views in just one day. The 30-minute video includes several instances of Kris Tyson contacting the minor, with Breone raising concerns over their interactions.

A crucial clip from Breone’s video, shared by X user @FearedBuck, features a Discord message sent by the minor when he was 15, discussing a Snap from Tyson containing an adult joke. Breone questioned why Tyson, then 22, would send such a message to a 15-year-old.

However, the minor, now 20, has refuted these claims in a series of posts on X, absolving Kris Tyson of any wrongdoing. “Kris did nothing wrong. What’s actually disgusting is you guys twisting things and making me a victim,” the minor stated in a post.

Ava Kris Tyson’s Response and Public Apology

On July 23, Ava Kris Tyson addressed the accusations and issued a public apology, acknowledging past behavior and its impact. “I would like to apologize for any of my past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended anyone. It was not my intent. Seeing recent events we’ve mutually decided it’s best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health.”

Reactions from the Streaming Community

Top streamers have responded to the viral allegations against Ava Kris Tyson. xQc criticized fellow influencers for their silence on the matter. “I follow mostly only influential creators here, yet most have been silent about the Kris Tyson situation,” he wrote on Twitter/X. “Pretty deviant behavior across the board. Weirdo. Can’t wait to read some of the cope justifications on why it wasn’t addressed.”

Ludwig Ahgren, however, pushed back against demands for comments, comparing the situation to Dr Disrespect’s Twitch ban. “I waited for Doc’s statement on Twitter and on stream and his removal from Midnight Society. I’m literally in Paris with my family, why y’all mfers so horny for a statement?”

YouTube streamer Valkyrae shared a similar sentiment, explaining that she hasn’t had time to fully process the information due to moving house. “Pedophiles = bad. Trans ≠ equal pedo. The actions of one trans person do not mean all. Sucks to see so many anti-trans people act as if it does. I’m hoping Ava speaks up.”

Pokimane also addressed the issue, emphasizing that inappropriate behavior towards minors is unacceptable regardless of the individual’s identity. “It’s a shame that people will see this as an opportunity to attack the trans community as a whole. One person’s actions do not reflect on every single trans person, so please don’t view it that way.”

YouTuber MoistCritikal pointed out that he had discussed the issue during a live broadcast when the accusations first surfaced. Since then, Ava has released an official statement, announcing her decision to step away from MrBeast and social media to focus on her family and mental health.

Valkyrae called Ava’s statement “disappointing and disgusting” in a quote-retweet. At the time of writing, MrBeast has not yet offered a response.
