Court documents obtained by media outlets reveal that Payne’s psychiatrist ceased treatment in September 2024, citing the singer’s need for a “higher level of care” beyond her capacity to provide.

The decision, reportedly made after careful deliberation, was accompanied by a detailed plan to support Liam Payne’s mental health journey. According to the documents, the psychiatrist advised the former One Direction star to strictly adhere to his prescribed medication, avoid heavy drinking, and attend weekly therapy sessions to address ongoing struggles with depression and trauma.
