As per reports available on the internet, a West Hollywood jeweler had given some jewelry to Nicki Minaj via her stylist for one of her appearances. However, the jewelry was not returned to the jeweler on time. Not just that, after the return too, two out of 66 pieces of jewelry were found to be damaged.
Nicki Minaj and her side have denied the claims by the jeweler though. Resulting in which the amount to be paid is due. But the jeweler has taken things a step ahead and filed a lawsuit against Nicki Minaj. But here’s what Nicki Minaj and her side have to say on the whole thing.
Nicki Minaj’s lawyer reacts to the lawsuit by the jeweler
As per the available sources, Nicki Minaj’s side isn’t agreeing to the claims made by the jeweler and hence doesn’t feel liable to pay any amount. In fact, the lawyer of Nicki Minaj has called the whole claims and legal actions by the jeweler to be a publicity stunt.
Jordan Siev, lawyer of Nicki Minaj said to TMZ “We have not been presented with any evidence that any of the jewelry at issue was damaged by Nicki. This lawsuit appears to be nothing more than an ordinary insurance claim by the jeweler designed to generate publicity for itself and extract a payment to which it is not entitled. We will defend the lawsuit vigorously”.
