Kenneth Petty and Nicki Minaj were accused on Friday in a lawsuit of intimidating a woman who accused Petty of sexually assaulting her in the year 1994, and to recant her story, bribed her. Jennifer Hough filed the case in Brooklyn’s Federal Court. She told everyone that Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty have tried sending her associates to her and her family. Nicki tried to stop Jennifer from issuing the statement of Sexual Assault.
An associate with $20,000 dollars stood for hours outside Jennifer’s residence to get her to recant the allegation. Petty is accountable for Sexual Assault under the New York State Child Victim Act. These cases are increasing continuously in New York City. Petty sexually assaulted Hough when she was 16 years old, at the bus stop at Queens. According to Hough, she was forcibly raped by accosting a knife with him.
Minaj always takes a stand for her husband and held an interview. She told the media that Petty is “falsely accused” and that he was in a relationship with Hough in 1994. On the other side, Jennifer confessed that she feels uncomfortable and threatened most of the day. She feels like she is always being followed by someone. According to what she told the judge, she is also suffering from depression and paranoia.
The case started resurfacing when Nicki Minaj started dat ing Kenneth Petty in early 2018. Hough informs the judge that she feels unsafe and has moved to three cities in the last two years. She is getting no work since the last year and Minaj also tried to get her to leave America. The lawsuit is mostly in favor of Jennifer Hough and alleges Petty of sexual assault, in addition, Minaj is accused of harassing the witness and the harassed.
Minaj is a global superstar and all these allegations will reflect on her career. She is very conscious and trying hard to convince Jennifer Hough to take the case back or move to a different city. Hough has also changed her phone number many times just to keep the threat calls away. The lawyer of Jennifer Hough, Micheal Goldstein has declined to say anything to the media about the case.
Petty was arrested according to the reports in 1994, but released on bail later. Hough is also afraid for her family and friends.
