YouTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is facing a new wave of allegations from former employees Jake Weddle and DogPack404. On August 8, 2024, DogPack404 released a video titled, “I Worked For MrBeast, He’s A Sociopath,” collaborating with Jake Weddle to reveal their claims. These accusations range from employing a registered sex offender to creating uncomfortable environments for female participants in MrBeast’s challenge videos.
Allegations of Employing a Registered Sex Offender
At the 44-minute mark of the video, Jake Weddle shared a troubling claim: a MrBeast employee was terminated for “sexually assaulting some very young people.” He alleged that MrBeast, known for his meticulous image management, might have covered up this situation. Weddle stated:
“I heard, you know, people have been let go for sexually assaulting some very young people. The idea that Jimmy didn’t know… or that Jimmy was covering stuff up. He didn’t want stuff to come out. You know, he’s very careful about his image. You know, the tangible proof that he knew but covered it up. How do you prove that? You know? Well, there was a known sex offender, a registered sex offender, convicted sex offender on the registry and everything, who worked there.”
Weddle further elaborated that the accused employee was involved in managing roles within the company and appeared in videos and thumbnails while concealing his identity with a mask. This, according to Weddle, suggested an intentional cover-up. He said:
“And they covered up the fact that not only did he work there… but he was the manager when it all started. And, you know, he knew because he’ll be in videos. He will be in the thumbnails. He will be around. And whenever he is, he’s wearing a mask. Why would you wear a mask? Why would you conceal your face? What are you concealing? That you are a registered sex offender?”
Unclear Termination and Nickname “Delaware”
Weddle admitted uncertainty about the precise reason for the employee’s departure but noted that he was referred to as “Delaware” due to his legal issues in that state. This nickname implied he was banned from returning to Delaware:
“How much more can you literally cover up a sex offender… with a physical mask? Like, do I have to… is it more on the nose? I don’t know why they let him go because there were rumors back and forth. So, I don’t know why they let him go. But he did leave at one point.”
DogPack404’s Accusations Against MrBeast’s Cameraman
In the same video, DogPack404 accused MrBeast’s cameraman of inappropriate behavior during the filming of “100 Boys Vs 100 Girls For $500,000.” He alleged that the cameraman “trapped” female contestants in a circle, making them feel uncomfortable and exposed them to harmful paint fumes:
“During the 100 Boys Vs 100 Girls video, I have people corroborating the same story that the camera guy who gave the girls a drone was making some girls feel uncomfortable. You trapped these girls in a circle, and made them sleep on rough turf, and then get them high on paint fumes, and then you tried to f**k them.”
Ongoing Silence from MrBeast
As of now, MrBeast has not publicly responded to these serious allegations made by Jake Weddle and DogPack404. The YouTuber, who has amassed millions of followers through his philanthropy and elaborate challenge videos, now faces significant scrutiny over these troubling claims.
The unfolding situation highlights the complexities and potential dark sides of the often glamorous world of YouTube stardom. With allegations ranging from serious criminal behavior to workplace misconduct, the pressure is on for MrBeast to address these accusations and provide clarity to his fans and the broader public.
