Meek Mill has found himself at the center of rumors and conspiracy theories, and he’s had enough. The Philadelphia rapper has been relentlessly trolled over allegations suggesting that his relationship with music mogul Diddy was more than just business or friendship. Now, Meek is taking a bold stand, offering a $1 million payout if anyone can confirm the rumors.
The allegations surfaced when Meek’s name was dragged into a sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy. The lawsuit, filed by an individual named Lil Rod, alleged that Meek had a sexual relationship with Diddy, leading to widespread gossip and online harassment targeting Meek. The rumors intensified after Diddy’s recent arrest on multiple charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. As a result, Meek became a frequent target of online trolls.
On September 19, Meek took to social media to address the swirling conspiracy theories. He raised a question in a tweet, asking, “Why all these CEOs stepping down?” in reference to the recent resignation of Kevin Liles as the CEO of Warner Music Group’s 300 Entertainment. The replies to his tweet were flooded with references to Diddy and even jokes about Diddy’s infamous “baby oil” stash. Many users urged Meek to “read the room,” implying that his question only added fuel to the ongoing rumors.
One user commented, “bruh this n*** just be setting himself up to get cooked. Read the room,” a clear indication that the trolls were seizing every opportunity to mock the rapper.
In response, Meek made a daring offer: “I will personally give you a million dollars if these stories add up in anything weird beyond trench/hood level. It’s 2 things we can’t do in the trenches … it’s no way y’all know what type of man I am.”
His bold reply was an attempt to put the rumors to rest and challenge anyone to provide concrete evidence to back up the allegations. Meek has consistently denied the accusations, previously calling them a smear campaign. Earlier in February, he tweeted, “I’m from Philly I don’t do coke or freaky ass molly … nobody won’t even offer me coke because I’m that heavy.” He added, “No man or watt would ever approach me about gay activity and the whole place don’t get flipped … woke up seeing this on every blog like they know I’m coming! Lol.”
Despite the persistent trolling, Meek Mill remains focused on his music and his philanthropic work. He recently engaged with fans on X (formerly known as Twitter) to promote his new single, “CYBERTRUCK,” and discussed his ongoing efforts with the REFORM Alliance, an organization aimed at reforming the criminal justice system. Meek also mentioned the recent passage of the “Meek Mill Bill,” a legislative effort to address parole and probation issues.
While Meek continues to face ridicule online, his decision to put up $1 million against the rumors shows that he’s confident in his stance and ready to challenge the false narratives surrounding him.
