Despite pleas for help, “MasterChef” contestant Mary Jayne claims she worked in a kitchen while suffering a stroke. She has now filed a lawsuit.

She claims that FOX’s production companies forced her to film for 14 hours while she was showing signs of a stroke, and she was not able to get medical care. Mary was on season 11 of the FOX cooking show.

Mary Jayne suffered the stroke on the morning of March 10, 2020, according to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ. She says she told producers before the shoot she wasn’t sure she could get through the day, but they forced her to take part in a baking challenge.

The challenge was forced on her by producers

The producers did not pay attention to Buckingham’s repeated pleas for medical care when she informed them about her condition before filming the baking challenge. After filming for 14 hours, Buckingham had a stroke.
