In the midst of her ongoing sexual harassment lawsuit, Lizzo is being chastised for posting a casual twerking video. In an Instagram video posted on Sunday, the Grammy winner was seen wiggling her butt to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s new single “Bongos” while wearing a provocative blue flowery bikini. “My back sounds like a bongoooooooo,” she captioned the photo. Some fans, however, were not amused by Lizzo’s raunchy social media antics, which come only a month after three of her former backup dancers filed a lawsuit alleging the “Truth Hurts” singer of weight-shaming and sexually derogatory behaviour. “Are we seriously going to pretend she didn’t coerce her team towards sexual acts?” one person said.

“That’s why I’m unfollowing her right now. “It’s completely unnecessary,” said another. “I really wish you’d addressed the situation going on with some seriousness,” a third added. “We’ve all looked up to you, and now we want you to prove to us that what you say is true.” On Aug. 3, the 35-year-old “About Damn Time” singer spoke out against the lawsuit, calling the charges made by her former dancers — Crystal Williams, Arianna Davis, and Noelle Rodriguez — “outrageous.” Despite Lizzo’s denial of the charges, some of her followers are still pushing for her to apologise. Others, though, defended the “Juice” singer, with one user begging with comments to “let that woman live her life.”

In The Midst Of A Sexual Harassment Case, Lizzo Is Facing Heat For ‘Unnecessary’ Twerking In A Provocative Bikini

In a video shared Sunday, the Grammy-winning performer was shown wiggling her butt to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s new single “Bongos.” “My back sounds like a bongoooooooo,” she captioned the photo. Some fans, however, were not amused by Lizzo’s raunchy social media antics, which come only a month after three of her former backup dancers filed a lawsuit alleging the “Truth Hurts” singer of weight-shaming and sexually derogatory behaviour. “Are we absolutely going to pretend she wasn’t pushing her team into sexual acts?” one person said. “That’s why I’m unfollowing her right now. “It’s completely unnecessary,” said another. The “Truth Hurts” singer shared a video of herself in a provocative blue bikini, with close-ups of her posterior. “Honestly thought you could talk regarding everything that’s going on with a little more seriousness,” a third added. “We all looked up to you, and we need you to show us that your words are true.”

On Aug. 3, the 35-year-old “About Damn Time” singer spoke out against the lawsuit, calling the charges made by her former dancers — Crystal Williams, Arianna Davis, and Noelle Rodriguez — “outrageous.” “My work ethic, morals, and respectability have all been called into question.” “My character has been criticised,” she stated in an Instagram message at the time. “Normally, I don’t react to false accusations, but these accusations are just as absurd as they sound and they’re too unbelievable to ignore.” Although Lizzo’s dismissal of the allegations, some of her fans are still calling for her to apologise. “Still waiting for that apology,” one person said on Sunday. Others, though, defended the “Juice” singer, with one user begging with comments to “let that woman live her life.” “Keep [them] mad lizzo ignore and keep doing you like you’re supposed to do,” another wrote. Since learning about the case, the pop icon has acted unconcerned in public and on social media.
