The name of Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s son has been changed. The former couple’s kid, Tatum, was born via surrogate more than a year ago, and his surname is now Thompson. Tatum’s name was made public during an episode of The Kardashians after his parents had kept it a secret for several months. At the same time, TMZ stated that Khloe provided her kid Kardashian as his official last name at first. According to the outlet’s sources, Khloe ultimately opted to change his name to Tatum Thompson. “When a baby is born but no name has been chosen, something still needs to be handed into the state, and the state will issue a birth certificate for ‘baby’ with the mother’s last name if both parties are not married,” a source told ET at the time.

“Since that time, Khloe & Tristan’s son’s name had been officially changed to Tatum Thompson.” The name change became legally official on Thursday, as per records obtained by ET when a Los Angeles county judge approved the motion. Khloe has struggled with the topic of her son’s conception and birth, claiming that Tristan “encouraged” her to do the embryo transfer days before news came that he had fathered another kid with Maralee Nichols during their engagement. Khloe & Tristan are also parents to a 5-year-old daughter, TRUE. Khloé stated that her son looked like her brother Rob, but she wanted his name to start with a T, like his big sister, True, as well as his father, whose relationship with Khloé ended in December 2021 following an infidelity scandal.

After More Than A Year After His Birth, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s Son Tatum’s Name Legally Changed

After more than a year, Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s son has been officially named Tatum Thompson. According to paperwork acquired by Page Six, a Los Angeles judge allowed the name change from Kardashian to Tatum Thompson on Thursday. After failing to come up with a name for her kid, the Good American co-founder, 39, wrote “Kardashian” on his birth certificate. An insider told Page Six last month that the child was first listed as “Baby” until the reality star suggested Tatum. Tatum’s birth came at a difficult moment for the on-again, off-again couple, who had another lady pregnant only weeks after learning they were expecting their son via surrogate. Page Six said that the pair was expecting a son just weeks before Tatum’s due date in July 2022. After many adultery scandals over the years, the “Kardashians” actress has repeatedly stated that she will not get back together with him. She denied rumors of a romantic reconciliation with Thompson in May.

“Most individuals are stuck thinking lies since they want to fuel the narrative.” “Have fun… Some things are not as straightforward as they appear,” she added. As of now, the couple, who began dating in 2016, are only co-parents to Tatum and True, their 5-year-old daughter. Kardashian revealed her kid was starting Kindergarten earlier this week in a series of pictures posted to Instagram. While it’s unknown whether Thompson accompanied her for the carpool drop-off, he’s been seen at major occasions like True’s pre-kindergarten graduation in June and Tatum’s opulent first birthday earlier this month. Celebrating her son’s birthday on social media, Kardashian said that he forever transformed her, adding that God provided her with all she required. Kardashian’s touching homage comes after she acknowledged on Season 3 of her famous Hulu show that raising Tatum has been an emotional roller coaster as she struggles to connect with him.
