Khai Hadid Malik is the little daughter of Gigi Hadid, model, and Zayn Malik, musician. She is a one-year-old baby, whose parents never shares her face on social media. Recently on her first birthday Yolanda Hadid, grandmother of Khai Hadid Malik, celebrated on a farm and posted a set of pictures on her Instagram account.
She wrote as a caption, after posting the birthday pictures of Kai Hadid Malik, that, “Happy 1st birthday to our Angel Khai. No words can express how much love and joy you have brought into our lives in just one year. I had to grow a whole other heart to absorb it all, you are such a magical little being that brings us smiles and blessings every day. Thank you to your incredible Mamma @gigihadid and bubba @zayn For the greatest gift of life!!”
Yolanda Hadid expressed the toddler’s happiness into a set of pictures that do not show her face but the actions, such as feeding a baby cow, petting a tiny goat, and riding a mini horse, feel mesmerizing.
Why Don’t Gigi Hadid Reveal Khai’s Face?
Gigi Hadid, mother of Khai Hadid Malik, does not want to reveal her daughter’s face publicly. That is why Yolanda Hadid, mother of Gigi Hadid and grandmother of Khai, is also not active with the toddler’s picture on her Instagram account.
While Gigi Hadid denies uploading her daughter’s picture, she also understands what it means. Recently, she posted an open letter to all photographers who clicks pictures of star kids, on her Twitter account.
She wrote, “I know the laws change state to state, and I have seen some paparazzi photos of kids in New York City with their faces blurred but from asking around, I believe that that comes out the integrity of the photographer, publication, or fans sharing the images.”
She added to the context, “I write this all to say to the paparazzi, press, and beloved fan accounts, you know we have never intentionally shared our daughter’s face on social media. Our wish is that she can choose how to share herself with the world when she comes of age and that she can live as normal of a childhood as possible, without worrying about a public image that she has not chosen.”
She wrote more, “it would mean the world to us as we take our daughter to see and explore New York City, and the world, if you would Please Please Please blur her face out of the images, and when she is caught on camera, I know it is an extra effort, but as a new mom, I just want the best for my baby, as all parents do.”
