Keke Palmer has addressed rumors regarding her relationship with Darius Jackson, father of her 7-month-old baby Leodis Andrellton Jackson. On TODAY with Hoda & Jenna on September 25, Palmer provided a quick response to co-hosts Hoda Kotb & Jenna Bush Hager when they inquired if she and Jackson were still dating. “I’m gonna take something out of Beyoncé’s book: Mind y’all’s business,” she said. Jenna inquired about Palmer’s happiness. “Yes, my life is good,” she replied. “I honestly have nothing but gratitude. Seriously.” Keke Palmer reported that she and Jackson attended Beyoncé’s birthday celebration in Los Angeles on September 4. Leodis was born in February, more than a year after the couple first became romantically involved.
The couple’s relationship status became murky in July after Jackson faced backlash for publicly humiliating Palmer for wearing a transparent dress to an Usher concert. Following Jackson’s criticism, the Emmy winner released a series of amusing social media messages. A month later, she made a surprise appearance in Usher’s video for “Boyfriend.”Though Palmer and Jackson hadn’t been seen together in public for weeks, as well as neither had publicly discussed their relationship status, fans wondered in August that the two were still together after Jackson sent a shoutout to Palmer on her 30th birthday from his X account, which seems to be presently disabled or deleted.

Palmer went on to say that she is content with her life: “Yes, life is good.” To be honest, I have absolutely nothing but gratitude. Seriously.” Palmer and Jackson met in May 2021 at a party hosted by Issa Rae and Diddy, but they weren’t ready to make their romance public until August of that year. “You’ve been a blessing from above,” Jackson, 29, said of Palmer at the time on Instagram. “I hadn’t anticipated summer 2021 was going to play out in the manner that it did, but here we are.” I’m grateful we were able to help one other through our darkest times and show each other that what we bring to the board is everything we’ve got.” The actress finally spoke publicly about her relationship with Jackson in March 2022. “I merely think [this] was the moment in time in my life whereby I really stepped into this sort of boss behaviour [of doing] whatsoever the hell I intended to do,” Palmer told Bustle at the time.

But, to be honest, this has been the greatest blessing, and I am overjoyed. I’m going to be a mother, guys!
