Katsuyori Shibata, The Japanese Wrestler, Returning: Fans are Very Excited

On October 21st, Katsuyori Shibata made his fans shocked after returning to the ring again. In a match, he faced Zack Sabre Jr., UWF Rules Exhibition, which was 5 minutes long.

In 2017, the wrestler suffered an injury. He announced that properly, for fighting, he would be returning to the ring again. Fans will see him in the ring now for fighting.

Who is Katsuyori Shibata?

Katsuyori Shibata was born in 1979. He was born in Japan,  he is a Japanese wrestler. He can do martial, wrestling, he is a professional wrestler, martial artist, and wrestling trainer. Furthermore, he is best known for his hard-hitting in professional wrestling. Before his injury in 2017, he worked for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).  He has won the 2017 New Japan Cup and was an ex-three-time NEVER Openweight Champion.  Moreover, he is a former one-time IWGP Tag Team Champion. He had also won the position of British Heavyweight Championship of Revolution Pro Wrestling. As the head coach of the LA Dojo, he had a contract with NJPW in Los Angeles, March 2018.

Katsuyori Shibata return for fighting

On October 21st, which was the final day of G1 Climax 31, Katsuyori Shibata made his return to the ring again. In a match, he faced Zack Sabre Jr., a UWF Rules Exhibition, which was 5 minutes long.

Neither of them won in the match because time ended up, neither of them could score the victory. At last, they both shook hands, those who were in the ring.

Katsuyori gave shocking information to his fans that next time, he will be in a New Japan ring and that would be for a match.

With Kazuchika Okada he had a match in 2017, and he suffered from a subdural hematoma through the match at Sakura Genesis. He suffered from paralysis on the right side of the body after he used a headbutt with dehydration, reported by subdural hematoma

When he went through with this incident, it showed that he would never be able to fight again. As the head coach of the LA Dojo, he had a contract with NJPW.

When Katsuyori made the announcement about his return, his fans got excited and went to Twitter to share their thoughts about him.

One fan wrote on Twitter:

“WOW!!!! As if 2021 wasn’t already a year for miracles… Katsuyori Shibata Is Officially Back! He last wrestled for NJPW in 2017 where he literally cracked his skull open on a headbutt. Now he’s back and better than ever. Never say never in wrestling.”
