On Christmas Eve 2024, popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat showcased a touching act of generosity, donating $16,000 to assist with the medical expenses of Ba-Kari Thomas, the brother of ten-year-old hip-hop artist Lil RT. This act of kindness came during a livestream where Lil RT made a return appearance after first gaining attention on Kai’s stream in November 2023.

Lil RT had previously drawn both admiration and controversy during his initial appearance, performing a freestyle rap with bold lyrics. Despite the criticism, his relationship with Kai remained strong, leading to his participation in another stream nearly a year later. This time, the focus shifted to a heartbreaking situation involving his brother, Ba-Kari.

Ba-Kari had been critically injured in a shooting on November 4, 2024, and has since faced an uphill battle toward recovery. A GoFundMe page set up for his medical expenses revealed the extent of his injuries and the family’s financial need. During the livestream

, Kai Cenat highlighted Ba-Kari’s dire condition and underscored the importance of rallying support.

In a heartfelt moment, Kai Cenat announced his decision to contribute $16,000, covering a significant portion of the $40,000 fundraising goal. His words during the stream resonated deeply with both Lil RT and the audience:

“Do you know how blessed your brother is? He’s still alive… For Christmas, Imma cover this whole thing, okay? Imma give you sixteen thousand dollars to pay for his whole hospital bill. Imma make sure that he’s all good.”

The surprise donation left Lil RT visibly emotional, and Kai encouraged him to pass along a message of hope to Ba-Kari, promising to visit him soon.

Beyond this act of kindness, Kai’s generosity extends far beyond individual gestures. During his “Mafiathon 2” subathon in November, Kai pledged 20% of the event’s revenue to fund the construction of schools in Nigeria. He even shared plans for the project, aiming to provide sustainable and well-equipped educational facilities for children in underserved areas.

On a night traditionally centered around receiving, Kai Cenat’s actions served as a reminder of the impact of giving. His contribution not only helped ease a family’s burden but also inspired countless viewers to embrace the spirit of compassion and community.
