A juror from the high-profile defamation case between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp has finally broken his silence on the topic.

The jury had unanimously voted in support of Depp and awarded him much bigger compensation than the Aquaman actress. However, they also ruled out that both the parties were guilty of defamation.

Ever since the verdict was announced, Heard has publicly slammed Depp’s attorneys. The juror opened up about the case following Heard’s interview.

Here is everything you need to know.

An unidentified male juror opens up about the Amber Heard-Johnny Depp libel case

The juror recently spoke to Good Morning America in an exclusive interview. They discussed the contentious legal battle between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp.

During the interview, the juror admitted that some of the other jury members felt ‘uncomfortable’ with Heard’s demeanor.

He mentioned, “The crying, the facial expressions that she had, the staring at the jury. All of us were very uncomfortable. She would answer one question and she would be crying, and two seconds later she would turn ice cold. Some of us used the expression ‘crocodile tears.'”

However, while talking about Depp, the juror expressed that his behavior was ‘very stable’ in the courtroom.

He explained, ‘A lot of the jury felt what [Depp] was saying, at the end of the day, was more believable. He just seemed a little more real in terms of how he was responding to questions. His emotional state was very stable throughout.’

Juror responds to Amber Heard’s claims that the jury was swayed by social media

Following the verdict, Amber Heard’s lawyer had claimed that the public opinion and the online backlash Heard was receiving played a key role in the jury’s decision.

However, a jury member has denied the accusations.

He pointed out, ‘We followed the evidence … myself and other jurors don’t use Twitter or Facebook. Others who had it, made a point not to talk about it.’

The juror further explained the ‘fiasco’ that dented Heard’s case was the actress not donating her divorce settlement amount to charity.

The 36-year-old celebrity has long ago admitted in an interview that she would ‘donate’ the amount equally between the ACLU and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

However, during the trial, it was noticed that the payments are yet to be completed.

Heard’s infamous response was all over social media when the star admitted that she had ‘pledged’ to donate the charity amount.
