General Hospital stars Jack and Kristina Wagner’s son Harrison Wagner passed away at the age of 27.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner, his body was found in a parking lot in Los Angeles, California.
Neither Jack nor his representative has commented on the sudden death of Harrison as of yet.
Harrison Wagner dies at the age of 27
On Monday morning in North Hollywood at 5:14 a.m. local time, Harrison Wagner was announced dead. The reason for his death remains unknown for now.
His death is currently under investigation and has been filed as deferred.
According to Fox News Digital, the coroner’s office described the term, ‘Deferred means that after an autopsy, a cause of death has not been determined and the medical examiner is requesting more investigation into the death, including additional studies. Once the tests/studies come back, the doctor evaluates the case again and makes the cause of death determination.’
Harrison is reported to have struggled with drug addiction in the past. However, it remains unclear whether it is connected to his death or not.
Harrison’s father, Jack, has previously spoken about his youngest son’s addiction issues. He mentioned that the 27-year-old actor went missing for a week after he relapsed in July 2016.
Jack then tweeted, ‘I’m going to ask those who want to share their fears, addictions & struggles to do so w me via Twitter. We can face them 2gether, I’ll start.’
In a second tweet, he said that he fears for Harrison’s safety because he struggled with drugs and alcohol when he was younger.
On the following day, he gave an update to his followers after he made contact with Harrison. He wrote, ‘Harrisons been in touch. He’s 21 & in charge of his life, ty for the lv & prayers, please continue to share your struggles, it helps us all.’
Fans offer their condolences over Harrison Wagner’s death
After the news of Harrison Wagner’s death broke out, several well-wishers started pouring in consoling messages to his mourning parents.
General Hospital actor Tristan Rogers said in a tweet, ‘My heart goes out to Jack Wagner and Kristina Malandro on the loss of their son. As a parent, the loss of a child is my worst nightmare.’
One of the users wrote, ‘My sincere condolences to both Jack and Kristina Wagner. May Harrison rest in peace.’
Another said, ‘So very sad. Deepest sympathy to the Wagner family on this heartbreaking loss of their beloved Son Harrison.’
