G-Eazy and Ashley Benson are still close almost a year after their breakup.
Besides reuniting after G-Eazy’s mother passed away, the actress said she was hopeful about the relationship with G-Eazy. “G-Eazy and Ashley spent a lot of time together after his mother passed away,” a source told ET.
A source says the two have always shared a love for each other and decided to rekindle their relationship after his mom’s passing. The loss of his mother has been challenging for him, and he has been leaning on people who are closest to him and with whom he feels comfortable. This includes Ashley.
The source adds that they are getting closer again and are hopeful about their future together.
A heartbreaking tribute revealed that G-Eazy’s mother, Suzanne Olmsted, had passed away. The musician included a slide show with pictures of everything he loved, as well as his mother’s voicemail.
“We Were Doing A Lot Together In Quarantine”
Even though they split, Ashley revealed her romance with G-Eazy in the March issue of Cosmopolitan UK. Ashley said that they did a lot of things together in quarantine. “We’ve done 30 songs. Who knows if it will ever be released or not!”
Ashley said it was lovely since she didn’t have anywhere to go, and she had nothing to do. She gushed, “that’s so nice!” she said. “He’s taught me a lot about music.”
Both Sides Still Respect And Love Each Other
In May 2020, Benson and the rapper were photographed showing affection to one another in Los Angeles, sparking rumors of an upcoming romance. This was the same year that she brought G-Eazy to her sister’s wedding. Within the month, the Instagram couple made their relationship official.
“My, Myself & I” singer and Pretty Little Liars actress split in February 2021, less than a year after getting engaged.
According to an ET source, there were no hard feelings between both entertainers as of April of last year. They are not rushing to get back together and are not talking about getting back together at the moment, the source said, further adding that “there is still love and respect between the two.”
