Google Drive “Offline” access: Google Drive is a file storage app by Google. It is used to store files in the cloud. It comprises Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides. Google Drive is launched on April 24, 2014. Files edit through Google Docs are also saved in Google Drives. It usually offers 15 GB of storage free. There is also a facility for privacy settings provided to users. Since 2018, there are over one billion users of the app. Till 2017, there are over two trillion files are stored. This data shows the popularity of the app among the public. Recently, it has come up with a new feature. Now, Google Drive will support offline viewing of all files types. The company announced this through its post recently. One can now able to access PDfs, files, and images offline. Google tested this feature in 2019 also. Back then, users are allowed to Mark non-Google file types to be made offline while using Google Drive on the web. After its testing for years, it would now be available for all.
How to get access to Google “Offline” access feature:-
Firstly, install Google Drive on devices whether on Mac or windows. Then enable offline access mode in settings of drive. After completing it, there would be an available offline toggle. Then right-click on it. Following these steps, one can access their files offline.
This feature is available to all Google customers as well as to users of cloud identity members either of premium or free users. One can purchase additional data. One can also back up data on Google Drive. For purchasing storage space, one has to pay. 100GB storage data is available for Rs. 130 per month. There are additional plans also. For 2TB of storage, one has to pay Rs. 650 per month. Also for 200 GB, one has to pay Rs. 200 per month. There are a lot of plans available for users. Chrome OS
Google is rolling out a new capability of the “Offline” access feature. It would arrive for everyone by September 14. According to Android Central, it would be live for everyone by next week. The reports said that the feature has come out of beta.
