Bobbi Althoff “Shocked” After Funny Marco Criticizes Her Humor Following Canceled Comedy Tour.

Funny Marco recently explained his decision to cancel his summer comedy tour with Bobbi Althoff, leaving her “shocked” by his remarks, especially after he allegedly ignored her calls.

In Summer 2024, comedians and content creators Bobbi Althoff and Funny Marco teamed up for their ‘Open Thoughts Vs. The Really Good Podcast’ comedy show. Despite their reputation for making fans laugh, the tour was abruptly canceled by Funny Marco, who cited Bobbi’s lackluster humor as the reason.

“I feel like Bobbi was stiff a little bit. And I’m like, let’s really, really work on this… I paid scriptwriters, let’s really give them a show,” Funny Marco said in a viral video where he addressed the cancellation. He mentioned that Bobbi’s comedic style, which involved minimal talking, didn’t align with his vision for the show and was detrimental to both his reputation and the audience’s experience.

“Her comedy was different from what she wanted to bring to the show… I just don’t agree with it. When people pay for those tickets and I’m trying to put a production show together, and you’re not saying anything… it was hurting me,” he added.

Bobbi quickly responded to Funny Marco’s explanation, sharing her perspective on the situation. “Alright Marco, I guess this is how we’re doing this now. I saw your video, not gonna lie, I was a little shocked,” she said.

“During this tour, I’m trying my best… but it’s hard for me to get out of my comfort zone. Like, I have social anxiety, debilitating social anxiety… I actually am socially awkward, it’s embarrassing so I lean into it,” Bobbi explained. She added that despite her challenges, she felt confident about her performance during their last show together, to which Funny Marco had acknowledged she “killed it” before canceling the tour shortly after.

Bobbi recounted that a few weeks later, her team informed her that Funny Marco did not want to continue working with her. She tried to reach out to him for an explanation, but he allegedly did not respond until he publicly shared his reasons online.

Additionally, Bobbi revealed that they had planned a tour in 2023, but she had to withdraw due to her divorce from Cory Althoff. Following this, Funny Marco allegedly unfollowed her on social media and expressed his disinterest in her humor.

Despite the fallout, Bobbi assured her fans that she has upcoming plans to make it up to them. “With all of that said, I’m gonna go on my own tour,” she announced. As for Funny Marco, he has yet to disclose his future plans or comment on Bobbi’s decision to tour solo.
