Ferne McCann opens up James Ardent after leaked voice note scandal
Ferne McCann got teary eyes while confiding in her friend James Argent in the premiere episode of ITVBe’s First Time Mum. It was released on Wednesday night.
Moreover, she called the leaked voice note scandal her ‘lowest moment.’ Additionally, she went on to admit that she has been in therapy since the incident.
If you didn’t know, McCann is expecting her first child with her fiance Lorri Haines.
McCann said that she is a ‘different person’ and the infamous memos took place six years back when she was in a ‘vulnerable situation.’
She added, ‘It definitely wasn’t my finest hour. It definitely was a difficult time in my life when those voice notes were leaked.’
Additionally, she continued, ‘But I need to take this opportunity to publicly apologize again to those affected.’
The 32-year-old former TOWIE added, ‘Obviously the words that I used were unpleasant. I have reached out privately to those people.’
She explained, ‘These voice notes were from a time when I was in a very vulnerable situation. It was a very, very difficult situation for me five to six years ago.’
McCann revealed, ‘I’ve been in therapy for six years and I feel that I am a different person.’

An anonymous Instagram account shared a bunch of voice notes claiming that it was from Ferne McCann back in November 2022.
In addition, the account was called Lady Whistledown supposedly named after the person who shared secret Bridgerton gossip.
Meanwhile, in the audio clips, we can hear an alleged McCann delivering derogatory comments about her former TOWIE co-stars Sam Faiers and Billie Shepherd.
Besides that, she also went ahead to talk about her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins’ acid attack victim Sophie Hall.
For the unversed, Hall barred her scars while she reached the finale of a Miss England final more than two years after the gut-churning attack.
Collins on the other hand is sentenced to spend 20 years behind prison bars. He threw acid in April 2017 in an East London nightclub. The incident left fourteen people injured.
Besides that, McCann was slammed by the acid attack victim Hall over her recent ‘insincere’ apology. She allegedly called Hall ‘ugly’ in the leaked audio clips.
