The estimated value of Erika Jayne’s infamous diamond earrings is way lower than the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star originally thought.

Here is everything you need to know.

Erika Jayne’s infamous earrings set to be auctioned at a stinker price

According to recent reports, Erika Jayne’s $750K diamond earrings are estimated to range between $250K to $350K. The value is way lower than the purchase price.

For the unversed, Jayne received the jewelry as a gift from her estranged husband, Tom Girardi. He has recently been accused of embezzlement.

It has been alleged that Girardi stole money from the victims of an airplane crash that he was representing at that time. Moreover, it is revealed that an 83-year-old businessman used the money to purch ase expensive personal objects such as Jayne’s earrings.

Besides that, in November Jayne announced her separation from Girardi and shortly after filed for a divorce. The pair tied the knot in January 2000 when Girardi was 60 years old while the singer was 28.

Erika Jayne’s diamond earrings are to be sold in December

John Moran Auctioneers had already auctioned tons of stuff acquired from the Girardi estate. It comes after Tom Girardi’s embezzlement case.

However, the auction house will reportedly sell Erika Jayne’s infamous earring in a separate event next month on 7th December.

Stephen Swan, the Vice president of the company, said ‘They are quite possibly the most talked about jewelry in the world at the moment. Which adds kind of an unknown excitement and interest factor.’

He further mentioned, ‘We haven’t established a starting bid yet. But because it’s a court-ordered sale, the starting bid is going to be very attractive.’

Meanwhile, despite taking heat over the earrings, Jayne continues to defend herself over why she is entitled to keep the diamond jewelry.

Jayne was seen telling her co-stars that she will not separate herself from the earrings unless a judge ordered her to. Ironically, this is actually what transpired in recent events.

In June, Judge Barry Russell stated that the ‘settlement funds from the trust account created for a class action handled by Thomas’ firm Girardi Keese were used to pay for the diamond earrings.’

Moreover, the judge said that he believed that the Bravo reality TV star was unaware of her husband’s actions. However, she has to still return the stolen property.
