Dell Cameron is banned from Twitter after a reported hack on Matt Walsh

Dell Cameron was banned from Twitter on 19th April Wednesday for reporting about a phone hack targeting Matt Walsh.

Moreover, Cameron’s article seemingly violated the rules on the social media platform about the distribution of hacked material.

In addition, one of Walsh’s p8nned tweets read, ‘My pronouns are That/N***a.’

In another, he said, ‘Joe Rogan Is A Pedophile’ while in a different tweet, he wrote, ‘I Can Confirm Andrew Tate Kidnapped And R*ped Those Girls.’

For the unversed, Walsh was referring to the infamous misogynist who is accused of human trafficking in the latter tweet.

The hacker on the other hand mentioned, ‘My Twitter Isn’t Hacked, This is Just The Real Me Coming Out.’

Subsequently, they shared a screenshot of the phone suggesting that they have access to Walsh’s email and text messages after spoofing his phone.

Cameron covered the events that took place on 18th April Tuesday when a hacker took control of Walsh’s Twitter account.

The alleged hacker mentioned in an interview with Wired, ‘The intent was to make funny tweets, as Matt Walsh likes to ‘trigger’ people. We caused no financial harm, threatened anyone, [nor] ruined anything. (It was just) a few silly words on social media.’

An email shared with Rolling Stone read, ‘We don’t permit the use of our services to directly distribute content obtained through hacking that contains private information.’
