Although there are several videos on the internet of Greta Thunberg talking about the environment. Her recent video uploaded by an X ( formerly Twitter) user @WallStreetSilv shows Greta talking about “sustainable tanks” and “biodegradable missiles” in it.

The video has already been viewed more than 3.5 million times in a day. Apart from that the video also had the logo of BBC in it. As in the video Greta is heard saying “War is always bad, specifically for the planet. If we want to continue fighting battles, like environmentally conscious humans, we must make the change to sustainable tanks”.

She added in the video “There are so many new concepts for battery-powered fighter jets that can carry biodegradable missiles”.

Fact-Checking: Did Greta Thunberg Discuss ‘Sustainable Tanks’ and ‘Biodegradable Missiles’?

Well, the viral X video about Greta Thunberg with the BBC logo in it and talking about sustainable tanks and biodegradable missiles was deepfaked. If one watches the video closely then one can find the lip movement of Greta and the voiceover to be not matching with each other.

Not just that, but even at the bottom corner of the video one can see “SATIRE” written on it. That itself indicates the video wasn’t anything real but was fake. Yet many of the internet users thought the video to be real as Greta Thunberg is heard often talking about climate and ways to protect it.
