The arrest video of Damon Arnette surfaces online
TMZ Sports recently obtained a new police video of cops arresting Damon Arnette back in July.
Moreover, the recording appears to be taken from the body camera of a police officer. In addition, the cops seem to be ticked off by Arnette when they pulled him over after midnight in Miami on 26th July.
Besides that, the officers were annoyed with the former first-round pick for breaking rules. Additionally, they learned that Arnette was already pulled over hours earlier.
Also, they discovered that he has been driving on a driver’s license that is suspended. However, they did allow him to leave after making sure that he will refrain from driving again until he got his license reinstated.
Meanwhile, in the video a cop can be heard telling Arnette, ‘We gave you a f***ing break! You knew your f***ing license was suspended.’
The former Ohio State star, who was 25 years old at the time, replied with, ‘I got to practice in the morning.’
The cops on the other hand were not buying it and they said, ‘It doesn’t matter bro, you’re going to jail, bro.’
Later in the video, the officers found a ‘white powdery substance consistent with that of cocaine’ after putting Arnette in handcuffs and frisking him.
The policeman at that time says, ‘Idiot. You’re a f***ing idiot, bro. You had the chance to go home. You f***ed it up.’
Furthermore, the officers continue to chastise him in the squad car while they were on the way to the station.
A cop mentions, ‘Now you’re going to jail for what? ‘Cause you’re stupid.’
He continues, Honestly, it sucks. We can’t even give people warnings without them f***ing it up for themselves.’
