Since his death, a spate of Obumseli’s tweets criticizing Black women has reappeared online. “Oomf: ‘black chicks are born knowing how to shake their a*s’ me: ‘honestly idc they not my type,” one tweet said.

“Once again, I’m tired of these black girls in my government class,” he stated in another tweet.

Christian Toby Obumseli also talked about wanting “mixed babies” and how only “yellowbone girls can pull off nose rings” in a series of tweets.

Christian Toby Obumseli expressed his admiration for Caucasian women by saying that “white women can cook!” and that Caucasian women wearing “yoga/ tights”.

Following the resurfacing of the tweets on the internet, many people turned to social media to say that Black women should not fight for justice now that he has died.

The family of Christian Toby Obumseli has set up a GoFundMe account

Following the death of Christian Toby Obumseli, Jeffrey Obumseli organized a fundraising for him. His family was “shocked and wounded,” and “utterly distraught,” according to the family member.

Christian’s character was described in the fundraising as follows:

“Christian was a deeply compassionate person who was always looking for ways to improve the lives of those around him. He did not deserve to have his life taken away by a senseless act of violence”.

The GoFundMe effort aims to generate funds for funeral costs, legal fees, litigation, therapy, and bills.

The goal of the campaign is to raise $100,000. The campaign had raised $67,000 at the time of writing this article. Alexander Yoseph contributed the largest donation of $2,000 to the cause.

Courtney Tailor called 911 at 5 p.m. on Sunday, according to authorities. In Miami, Florida, the couple resided in a high-end apartment building. Obumseli had been stabbed in the shoulder. He was rushed to the hospital but died as a result of his injuries.

The 25-year-old model threatened to harm herself while being arrested at the police station, prompting her to be “Baker Acted.” This empowers judges and mental health professionals to commit someone to a mental health hospital for 72 hours. They have the authority to do so if the person exhibits aggressive or suicidal inclinations.

It is unknown if the influencer has been released from the mental health facility. Tailor was not charged with anything at the time for her boyfriend’s death.
