Britney Spears’ Father steps Down from Conservatorship of Pop Star’s Estate

The father of Britney Spears, James Spears has decided to step down as the conservator of Britney’s estate. Britney had no control over her finances, for the last 13 years. James was the one who controlled her whole financial status.

Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, was approached to file a petition for James Spear’s removal. James decided to do this as he was not ready to argue with his daughter in public about money. James totally denied fighting a case against his own daughter for money. He only wants to offer his daughter affection, love, support, and encouragement. The lawyer of Britney and the whole team are pleased with the decision but they decided to keep investigating the finances.

This all started when Britney in an interview in 2019, said that her life was like always under the conservatorship. She told everyone in the interview about the things she wants out of her life, including her father. James will start transitioning to a different conservator of the estate after the judge puts a label of approval.

Britney also has Jodi Montgomery, who looks after all her life decisions. And, according to the papers, she’s in a good relationship with her, At least in the papers. Britney is with his father in the finances since 2008. On Thursday afternoon, James filed all the needed documents to step down as conservator. The case was filed in late July against James.

All of this freedom required from her dad was first seen by the media on her own life documentary. The name of her documentary was “Framing Britney Spears”. Mathew is still accusing James

of stealing thousands of dollars from her own daughter.

In her June 23 testimony, she asked the Judge to get her own new lawyer by herself. She hired Rosengart, the federal prosecutor. The whole singer’s estate is worth around $60 million dollars. She was so afraid, that one night before the court testimony Britney called 911 to report conservatorship. Britney was also seemed in the court asking to get her life back. Britney gave conservatorship to her father in 2008, due to her mental health breakdown. She will be having her final court hearing in Late September in Los Angeles.
