Social media personality Brianna LaPaglia, known as Brianna Chickenfry, recently shared disturbing allegations against her ex-boyfriend, country singer Zach Bryan, claiming he subjected her to emotional abuse throughout their relationship. LaPaglia opened up about her experience on the BFFs Podcast, which she cohosts with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards, revealing new details about her relationship and the difficulties she faced.
In the latest podcast episode, Brianna LaPaglia accused Bryan not only of emotional manipulation but also of requiring his former partners to sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), allegedly to prevent them from discussing their relationships with him publicly. According to LaPaglia, these NDAs were designed to keep his actions private and suppress the voices of those affected. “The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude,” she revealed. LaPaglia stated that her fear of Bryan initially kept her from speaking out, but she felt compelled to share her story for “anyone else that’s been emotionally abused.”

The public revelation has generated significant social media buzz, especially as LaPaglia’s cohosts Portnoy and Richards recently released a diss track titled Smallest Man
Brianna LaPaglia did not shy away from addressing what she claimed was a pattern in Bryan’s relationships, alleging that he pressured his previous girlfriends to accept payments in exchange for their silence. “You made the women before me believe they had no other choice but to take money from you,” she said, expressing frustration that Bryan’s public persona might overshadow his private actions. In a poignant comment, she said, “[They] signed their experiences away so you could skip off and sing your little songs on stage like you’re a good dude.”

Asserting that money was never her motivation, LaPaglia shared that Bryan offered her a substantial sum—$12 million—to sign an NDA. “It was never about the money,” she clarified. “I was with the dude because I loved the dude. Everything glamorous, rich, or cool about him was what I hated.” She explained that her decision not to sign the NDA wasn’t about seeking attention or creating drama. Instead, she wanted to retain her right to share her experience, adding, “I’m not signing away my experiences to protect someone who hurt me.”
LaPaglia’s return to the BFFs podcast follows a brief break she took to prioritize her mental health. Just last week, she informed fans that the show would pause, explaining that she was struggling with how to address the situation publicly. She candidly wrote, “I am going to put my mental health first this week.” Her decision to finally speak out, however, seems to have been motivated by a desire to provide support for those who may be going through similar situations. “This is for anyone who doesn’t have a support system that I luckily had going through this,” she shared.
The pair had been dating for about a year before announcing their breakup in a surprising Instagram post by Bryan. Brianna LaPaglia stated that she was blindsided by the sudden announcement, noting in a YouTube video that she was unaware of Bryan’s intention to go public with their split.
LaPaglia’s revelations have sparked widespread conversations online, with fans and followers discussing the implications of her statements and the broader issue of emotional abuse in relationships.
