The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested rapper Blueface, born Johnathan Doorman, on Tuesday 15th November for attempted murder and gun discharge into an occupied structure. The charges are related to an incident that occurred on the 8th of October, according to a statement from the LVMPD. A clip from Blueface’s “Better Days 2 (Pain In The Ghetto)” music video was uploaded to Blueface’s Instagram account after the alleged shooting. The music video shows the rapper in prison wearing an orange jumpsuit. The clip opens with the verses: One suspect, two victims, hurt every one of the three they kids/Four, five shots, all it took to get them 40 years.
According to TMZ, a video of Blueface’s arrest shows him sitting outside a business with his girlfriend Chrisean Rock on Tuesday night. A few seconds later, men in regular clothing, perhaps casually dressed officials, pin the rapper against a wall, cuff him and take him away. In February, Blueface was arrested in California for possessing a gun, following a traffic stop. He was wanted by the police after he was captured on video going after a bouncer at a California club who allegedly denied him entry without identification in 2021. Blueface was charged with one felony count of carrying a loaded handgun (in his possession or in a vehicle) without registration in 2019. The charge was ultimately dropped in October of that year.
