According to the agency, the idol was asymptomatic and had ceased all activities for the time being.

Fans flooded Twitter with the hashtag #GetWellSoonHongjoong as soon as the news broke. The hashtag included well wishes and blessings for a rapid recovery, as well as warm and encouraging words with visual assets of the skipper. The agency also reported that additional members were subjected to PCR testing and that their findings were negative. According to the agency, ATEEZ left Amsterdam for South Korea after passing a PCR test and testing negative.
Hongjoong is now symptom-free
They explained, “A PCR test was done as part of the quarantine protocol after member Hongjoong arrived in Korea on the 16th, and he tested positive on the 17th. Hongjoong is now symptom-free, but has begun quarantine and home treatment, while the other seven members have all tested negative.” The business also said that all ATEEZ members had received all three vaccination doses.
