Angelina Jolie anonymously reported Brad Pitt to the FBI investigation
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are disclosed to be the subjects of a lawsuit where the plaintiff has claimed that she was abused by her ‘then-husband.’
A report from Puck has stated that several years ago Jolie mentioned to an FBI agent that Pitt has ‘physically and verbally assaulted’ her and their children.
The incident reportedly took place on a private plane where the famous family was aboard.
The statements of the FBI agent note that Pitt allegedly took Jolie to the rear of the aircraft. He then went to grab her shoulders while shouting, ‘You are f*****g up this family.’
The 47-year-old actress has further claimed that another physical confrontation happened during the same flight. She seemingly sustained injuries on her elbow because of the altercation.
Furthermore, Jolie said that Pitt poured beer on her. However, the Fight Club actor’s team has denied all the accusations.
The Eternal star then filed a lawsuit, as Jane Doe, against the FBI reportedly to claim the charges against her former ex-husband over the 2016 incident that eventually led to their separation.
Brad Pitt was accused of child abuse the same year
The FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services have previously charged Brad Pitt with child abuse.
The 58-year-old actor allegedly got into a physical fight with his then-15-year-old son, Maddox while they were on his family’s private plane.
According to reports, Maddox intervened in an argument between Angelina Jolie and Pitt.
Moreover, the Primetime Emmy Award winner released a statement to address the issue in People magazine. He denies the claims of hurting his son.
The statement mentioned, ‘He is emphatic that it did not reach the level of physical abuse, that no one was physically harmed.’
It further read, ‘He did not hit his child in the face in any way. He did not do that; he is emphatic about that.’
They continued, ‘He put his hands on him, yes, because the confrontation was spiraling out of control.’
Shortly after the incident, the celebrity couple announced their divorce while Pitt publicly abandoned drinking alcohol. No charges were filed against him at that time.
