Amber Heard’s old mugshot resurfaces online
Shortly after Amber Heard’s mugshot came to light, several netizens started speculating the reason for the actress’ arrest.
A Reddit article referring to Heard’s mugshot, which was supposedly taken in 2003, went viral online. The thread was titled, ‘Was Amber Heard involved in vehicular manslaughter as a teenager?’
A bunch of social media users claimed that Heard was allegedly arrested due to her involvement in the car accident.
On the other hand, a post by Yahoo News, which noted Heard’s early life indicated that the Aquaman star lost one of her best friends to a fatal car accident when she was 16 years old.
The article further stated that Heard dropped out of high school a year after her best friend’s death. She moved to New York to pursue a modeling career. However, she started acting and later moved to Los Angeles.
Amber Heard was accused of domestic abuse in 2009
Amber Heard was reported to be arrested again in 2009. Her former girlfriend Tasya Van Ree accused the star of domestic abuse during their relationship.
According to a report by USA Today, the former pair argued at Washington’s Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
During the altercation, Heard allegedly tugged Ree and hit her arm. The cops of Port of Seattle soon reached the scene and arrested Heard over the counts of domestic violence assault in the fourth degree.
Back in 2011, it was reported that authorities were requested to delete the arrest information about Heard’s case.
The actress opened up about the incident in 2016. She testified and denied domestic abuse claims.
Van Ree also further said that the occurrence was ‘misinterpreted.’
Heard has been under public scrutiny ever since her defamation trial with Johnny Depp started in the court of Fairfax County earlier last month on 11th April.
We will have to wait to see if Heard’s legal team will address the resurfaced speculations about her juvenile arrest.
The Depp vs. Heard defamation trial is presently on hold for a week and will continue on 16th May. Heard will return to the stand to resume her testimony.
