Nevertheless Episode 9: Recap
Episode 9 of Nevertheless begins with the bar scene where Nabi and Jae first met each other. Jae was constantly asking questions to Nabi. And Nabi was avoiding them but Jae still kept on asking the questions.
We saw full-packed drama in this episode. But the stricking thing is that Jae is not explaining to Nabi why he was asking such questions to her. Jae even asked some personal questions to her.
Jae asked her the reason behind her liking for Doyheok. She replied in seconds saying that he’s a good cook. However, it was very clear that she was hiding something and not answering clearly to Jae. The reason being earlier she had admitted that Doyheok makes her feel happy all the time. However, she said that she feels most comfortable when Doyheok is around.
Jae couldn’t control and cross his limits. He asked her why wasn’t she dating Doyheok then. To which Nabi replied that she wanted to focus more on herself before getting into any relationship. Moreover, she was a little unsure regarding Doyheok.
On the other hand, Doyheok shared his feelings with some of his friends. He admitted that he is in love with Nabi. But he feared that he would create a mess and everything would be ruined. However, it’s clear that his feelings are completely different from that of Nabi.
Later, when Doyheok came to Nabi’s house to meet her then he saw Nabi and Jae together. Jae also saw Doyheok standing outside but Nabi didn’t notice him. Thus, Jae started to pretend as if Nabi was helping him in packing the belongings. To see this, Doyheok was heartbroken. Whereas, Jae kept on presenting the flawed show.
But then he had to leave after some time. When Doyheok met Nabi he said to her that he saw her and Jae together entering the house. He even asked her whether she really had feelings for him. But she was totally confused and in her mind, she felt that she no more liked Jae. After her meeting with Sol, it was somewhat clear to her.
But an incident took place which really affected Nabi. Jae was waiting outside her house for a long time. And when she came out, he asked her vulgar questions about her relationship with Doyheok. To which Nabi got frustrated and they had a fight.
Now, problems were going on in Nabi’s professional as well as personal lives. But one thing became clear that she didn’t want to see Jae’s face again. And the episode ended with Nabi burdened with so many questions of which she herself had no answers.

Nevertheless Episode 10 is set to release on Sunday, August 22, at 11 PM KST on JTBC. The title of episode 10 is not revealed yet. In India episode 10 will be released on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 9:30 PM IST on Netflix.
