More about Terry Bradshaw’s health condition

Fans noticed that Terry Bradshaw seemed to run out of breath while analyzing a few games during a segment for the Fox NFL Sunday in September 2022.

However, a week later in early October, the legendary Steelers quarterback disclosed that he had been diagnosed with two kinds of cancer last year. He stated he was battling bladder cancer and an aggressive type of skin cancer called a Merkel cell tumor.

He said, ‘I had a bad neck. I got an MRI, and now we find a tumor in my left neck and it’s a Merkel cell tumor, which is a rare form of skin cancer.’

Besides that, he assured his fans that he was ‘cancer free.’ The 74-year-old Pro Football Hall of Famer also added that he has started to feel like his old self already.

But he mentioned that he was diagnosed with his first cancer in November 2021. This indicated that he waited nearly a year to share his health issues with the audience.

Regardless, he explained his reason behind hiding his health struggles during an interview with TODAY earlier this month in November.

The former football star said, ‘I didn’t talk about it because I didn’t want pity.’

In addition, he added, ‘I think the perception around America with all the millions of people is, “Aw, look at him. Bless his heart. He has cancer. Well, my husband died of cancer! My kids are…” I didn’t want that.’
