Teri Polo Joins ‘NCIS’ as Vivian Kolchak

Teri Polo cast as Gary Cole’s character Alden Parker’s ex-wife in “NCIS.” A rep for CBS confirmed to TheWrap on Thursday that she’ll play Vivian Kolchak, a former FBI agent who now works as a paranormal investigator for the Defense Department, in the Season 19 finale. Following the sudden departure of original cast member Mark Harmon in the sixth episode of the current season, Cole joined the long-running procedural.

NCIS will feature a new face?

On NCIS, we’ll be seeing a new face. Teri Polo, who previously appeared on the CBS drama series The Fosters. Cast in a recurring role alongside Gary Cole on the CBS drama series. Polo will play Vivian Kolchak, NCIS Special Agent Alden Parker’s (Cole) ex-wife and a former FBI agent. Who left the FBI after their divorce and accepted a career as a paranormal investigator with the Defense Department. Teri Polo will appear as a guest star in the Season 19 finale before returning as a recurring character in the forthcoming Season 20.

With David McCallum, Rocky Carroll, and Cole, NCIS stars Sean Murray, Wilmer Valderrama, Brian Dietzen, Diona Reasonover, and Katrina Law. Cole stepped in to fill the vacuum created by Mark Harmon’s departure in Season 19’s fourth episode. Executive producers are Steven D. Binder, Chas. Floyd Johnson, Mark Horowitz, Mark Harmon, Scott Williams, David North, and Donald P. Bellisario. Belisarius Productions, in collaboration with CBS Studios, produces NCIS.
