After the release of Snyder’s cut Fans have been asking for more from Warner Bros. Fans are demanding the Ayer cut of the Suicide Squad (2016).  This Hashtag #ReleaseTheAyerCut is trending on Twitter. Just like the Snyder cut was released by the Warner Bros, fans are creating hype by tweeting about it and want the Warner Bros to release the Ayer Cut. To be honest, the Ayer’s Cut hype is not that huge as compared to Snyder cut. Due to less hype, we can consider that the Ayer Cut is not happening for now. Now let’s talk about why the Ayer’s Cut is not happening and how It is connected to the SnyderVerse.

The DCEU’s timeline starts with the movie Man of Steel(2013). To watch the Snyder cut from the start first you have to watch Man of Steel, Batman v. Superman, and finally Zack Snyder’s Justice League. To know about the origin of Wonder Women you can watch “Wonder women 1984” and Wonder women (2017). According to DCEU’s timeline, After Zack Snyder’s Justice League the timeline of the Aquaman, Shazam, and Birds of Prey starts. The Ayer’s cut is not present in the timeline because the movie’s story is very different from the Justice league’s timeline. Just like Justice League (2017), Suicide Squad also had controversies like Warner Bros removed multiple scenes from Suicide Squad without asking David Ayer

. But the Box office collection of Suicide Squad was better than Justice League’s (2017) box office collection, but critics gave bad reviews for the movie.

After the release of Snyder Cut David Ayer also demanded the release of his own Ayer cut. According to David Ayer, ‘Suicide Squad’ Originally Included Steppenwolf as a villain. Ayer said that Enchantress was under the control of a mother box and Steppenwolf. David Ayer also revealed Enchantress’s minions were supposed to be Parademons. In Ayer’s Cut, every character had its own back story.

In a recent interview by Variety, the CEO of Warner Bros Ann Sarnoff confirmed that the Ayer Cut is not happening and the plan to work on Ayer’s cut is completely shutdown. After all Suicide Squad 2 by James Gunn is completely ready but the story of Suicide Squad 2

is different from Ayer Cut. If the Ayer’s Cut gets released there will be confusion among the fans due to their different storyline.

David Ayer responded to a tweet that says it “doesn’t make much sense to release the Ayer Cut having James Gunn’s Suicide Squad so close to its release” — Gunn’s new film out August 6 in theaters and on HBO Max — Ayer tweeted: “That would be horrific brand management to do that. No one has suggested that. Let James crush it.”
