Extraction is an adaptation of Ande Parks’ graphic novel. Moreover, it features Chris Hemsworth as a mercenary named Tyler Rake who is all set to return for Extraction 2.

When will Extraction 2 release?
The sequel of Extraction is slated to hit the screens of Netflix on 16th June.
In addition, it is directed by Sam Hargrave and its production began back in November 2021 in Prague, Czech Republic.
Furthermore, they concluded filming the following year in April with additional reshoots taking place later that year in November.
Joe Russo, who will serve as the producer for Extraction 2, talked about the film during an interview with Collider.
He said, ‘It’s very different from “Extraction 1,” which we like. It’s its own movie in that regard. It has a different color schematic. It’s set in a different part of the world. It has a different pace, a different tone than the first one.’
Is there a trailer for Extraction 2?
The trailer of Extraction’s subsequent film confirms the survival of Tyler following the events of the first movie. In addition, it includes a moment where Nik informs him that nine months earlier he was clinically dead.
Furthermore, Tyler appears to be spending time in an isolated wintery home while recuperating. However, it does not last for long as he is forced to return to action.
Besides that, a significant part of the trailer seems to be a new one-take-action sequence of the film where Tyler appears to be protecting his new clients on a train.
Who will appear in Extraction 2?
Netflix confirmed that Chris Hemsworth and Golshifteh Farahani will return as Tyler Rake and Nik Khan respectively.
Additionally, the movie will reportedly include new faces such as Daniel Bernhardt and Tinatin Dalakishvili, who seem to be acting as the target that Tyler will need to rescue.
Other newcomers include Olga Kurylenko, Andro Jafaridze as well as Miriam and Marta Kovziashvili.
Meanwhile, Adam Bessa, who is best known for his performance in Mosul, will be seen as Yaz Khan in Netflix’s action-filled sequel.
