COVID-19 is again impacting our lives as well as industry. Jennifer Lopez’s movie ‘THE MOTHER’ has been temporarily paused due to coronavirus cases associated with the production team.
The movie was set to be out in 2022 featuring Jennifer as an assassin who comes out of hiding to protect her daughter while evading dangerous assailants.
The project was ongoing in Canada before the new year started. The production team planned to shoot the majority of the scenes there. Lopez’s shooting scene was going on before the sudden halt.
The cast of The mother includes Joseph Fiennes, Gael García Bernal, and Omari Hardwick.
Jennifer Lopez’s Career
Jennifer Lopez is an American model and musician. She first appeared in movies in the late 1980s which resulted in achieving a mark of being the highest-paid actress in the history of Hollywood.
Later, she got success in the music industry with a series of pop albums. She performed internationally in stage musicals. At the age of 16, she made her first debut with a small role in 1986 in a movie named My little girl. Her television break came in 1990. When she got her cast as one of the “Fly Girls”, dancers who appeared on The living color.
After that show, she turned her focus to acting. From short-lived television shows to movies. By mid-1990, she was in all eyes getting breaks with leading celebs.
In 1999 she released her debut album “On the 6”, the album quickly went platinum and sold more than eight million copies. Her second album J.Lo came out in 2001 with 270,000 copies in the first week.
Lopez’s Personal Life
Jennifer got married in 1997 to a model and actor, Ojani Nao. Other than him she was in relation with Sean puffy comb (rapper), Cris Judd (dancer), Ben Affleck (they got engaged in 2002 and later broke up in 2004), and Marc Anthony (she married in June 2004 at Los Angeles).
Jennifer and her Ex Ben Affleck got engaged in 2019 after a while and their marriage was due in 2020. They later called off their engagement in April after they “realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so.”
Lopez gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl in 2008 named Maximilian and Emme.
Lopez’s other upcoming film ‘Marry Me’ will still be out in Feb 2022 despite covid cases rising.
