Bad Bunny will star in Sony’s next film El Muerto, which was unveiled tonight at the company’s Cinema Con presentation. This is the first time a Latinx actor has taken the lead in a Marvel picture.

El Muerto, sometimes known as Juan Carlos, is a Spider-Man antihero. He is a superpowered Mexican wrestler whose power is passed down through the generations via a luchador mask, according to Marvel’s official comic biography. His father bestows the ancestral mask upon him, prompting their “oppressor,” El Dorado, to challenge Juan Carlos to earn it. Alexander Dreymon was born on February 7, 1983, and is best known for his role as Uhtred of Bebbanburg in the historical fiction series The Last Kingdom. Dreymon was born in the United States and raised in the United States, France, and Switzerland. He had always aspired to be an actor and a martial arts specialist. While residing in South Dakota, he also learnt to ride horses. He studied in Paris and trained for three years at Drama Centre London.
