In this episode, Rio will get to know many new things about his family. Yuba tells him that she knows his parents and he resembled them. She will reveal that Zen’s mother is Rio’s grandmother. Rio is surprised to know that his parents’ graves are already there in their homeland. He is relieved. He pays respect to his parent’s graves.

Later, Yuba will make more big revelations. She reveals to Rio that Ruri is Zen’s older brother’s daughter. Thus, Rio is happy to know that he has a cousin. Later we will see that Rio would save Ruri from a boy misbehaving with her.

Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles Episode 7: Recap

Episode 7 is titled Land of Prom ises. It represents that Rio is going to reach the land where he could fetch information about his parents. Rio successfully defeated the bandits in Latifa’s village. Thus, after this, he makes an exit from the village to complete his task.

Autumn Rio reaches another village in the Yagumo region in the year 998 of the Holy Era. After residing here for two weeks, he realizes that he has not found any lead about his parents. Thus, Rio decides to visit the village headman.

But Rio noticed a weird thing about the residents of this village that all the people had black hair only. He was surprised and so were the other people as he was a stranger. Rio saw two girls and asked them about the village head. He said that he’s a visitor and wants to meet the head.

The girls were Sayo and Ruri. They took him to the head’s place. Ruri tells Rio that her grandmother-Yuba is the head. After reaching the place, Rio tells Yuba that his parents lived at this place fifteen years ago.

In this episode, Rio revealed that his mother died when he was just five years old. He wanted to go to Yagumo and find out the real homeland of his parents. The motive behind this was to make graves of his parents where they lived.

Yuba asks the names of his parents. To which he says Zen and Ayame. Zuba remembers the names but still struggled to recognize the full story. She asked him to tell her the full story. But before this, Zuba asks Ruri and Sayo to leave as it is a personal matter. In the next episode, we will get to see all the things that Yuba would reveal to Rio about his family.
