Your wait ends today at 4:00 pm BST when MAPPA will release the first proper look at the highly anticipated Jujutsu Kaisen.
A new teaser was released of the Japanese Movie which clocks around 30 seconds. But this didn’t quench the thirst of anime lovers, they are waiting to see the full trailer.
Storyline
5The story is about a high-school student Yuta Okkotsu who was an anxious child. But his life takes a turn when the spirit of a young girl he loved-Rika threatened her.
At first, her spirit wanted to protect Yatu from all the dangers but then it became malicious and started harming anyone who’d come close to Yatu. This led to Yatu taking a strong decision to isolate himself from everybody to keep that safe. He was suffering a lot and felt helpless until his teacher advised him to join Jujutsu High where he learned how to control Rika’s negative spirit and fight other dangerous curses.
This plot is full of adventure, drama, horror, and thrill- everything the teenagers love so it has formed a firm grip over this age group among the audience. The anime went live with season 1 recently and is one of the best-selling titles in Japan right now.
Season 2 is also under production but the release date has not been announced by the concerned authorities. However, the announcement of its trailer has hyped the excitement of netizens and critics.
And the audience is going gaga over Yuta and his style in the movie. The creator of Jujutsu says he has always imagined Yuta as having a “neutral, soft and kind voice” that too should be capable of saying wide emotions.
And thus when he heard the voice of Ogata, he was pleased and offered him to sign for Yuta. After an event in Japan, the production team confirmed that the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be released in Japan on Christmas Eve.
There are no announcements for the release of the movie internationally. It has also been confirmed that the Jujutsu movie will adapt the title- ‘Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School’.
The excitement is on par for the trailer. And for the die-heart fans of Jujutsu Kaisen, T-shirts for adults and kids and tole-bags will also be available.
