Taylor Kitsch Reveals If He'd Do a 'Friday Night Lights' Reboot

Taylor Kitsch is opening up about Friday Night Lights. The 41-year-old actor reflected on the hit series in an interview with Variety.

The show –which follows a high school football team in the town of Dillon, Texas – premiered in October of 2006, and went on until February of 2011, ending after five seasons.

During the conversation, Taylor, who played Tim Riggins, was asked about the potential for a reboot of the series, and he did not hold back with his true feelings on the matter.

“You may see it, but I will not be a part of it,” the actor said “I’m done. I’m good. I want to keep growing as an actor. Going back to Rigs — let him live in everyone’s memories

But don’t let that be interpreted as a negative: he has no hard feelings about the show.

It was such a huge springboard for me, but I’m such a different actor now. It allowed me to explore the process, be f–king green and embrace it.”
