Taylor Hawkins' Wife Alison Releases First Statement After His Death
Taylor Hawkins‘ wife is thanking fans for all their love and support during this difficult time.
On Wednesday (June 8), Alison Hawkins took to social media to share her first statement after the Foo Fighters drummer’s untimely death at 50 back in March.
“My deepest thanks and admiration go to the global Foo Fighters community and Taylor’s fans far and wide for the outpouring of love
Alison wrote in a statement shared on Taylor‘s Instagram. “Your kindness has been an invaluable comfort for my family and me during this time of unimaginable grief.”
Taylor passed away on March 25 at his hotel in Bogota, Colombia while in town to play a festival with the Foo Fighters.
It was later reported that he died of “cardiovascular collapse.”
