The official Star Wars social media accounts have made its stance on racism very clear by standing up for actress Moses Ingram after she received hateful messages on social media

Ingram has joined the Star Wars franchise as the character Reva Sevander in the new Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The American actress has recently had starring roles in Netflix series The Queen's Gambit, Joel Coen's Oscar-nominated The Tragedy of Macbeth, and Michael Bay's Ambulance.

Her debut in Obi-Wan Kenobi as the lightsaber-wielding character Reva has been celebrated by many but the actress has also received a number of racist DMs which she shared on her Instagram stories.
