'Outlander's Sam Heughan In Talks to Lead Film Adaptation of 'Days Gone' Video Game

Per Deadline Sam Heughan, who plays male lead Jamie Fraser in Starz's hit series Outlander, is in talks to headline the film.

Oscar-nominated writer Sheldon Turner, who helped pen the scripts for Up in the Air and X-Men: First Class, is writing the video game adaptation's script

The original video game, which was released on Playstation 4 in April 2019, sold 9 million units during its shelf life.

The news of another video game adaptation for Sony is not even the least bit surprising, since this year's Uncharted adaptation raked in over $401 million worldwide
