Nicole Byer guest hosts Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight

Nicole Byer will become the latest Jimmy Kimmel Live! guest host on Wednesday night. The comedian steps in for the first of her two-night run as host.

Byer will become the third different guest host to take over for Jimmy Kimmel this week. Desus Nice and Al Franken hosted on Monday and Tuesday.

Kimmel remains on his summer vacation. In fact, you may have seen him pop up in Instagram pictures from Kristen Bell that also featured Jason Bateman, Adam Scott, and other notable celebrities.

Byer will get her shot at hosting a late-night TV show. Fans may recognize her from shows like 30 Rock, The Good Place, or Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Hosting won’t be anything new to Byer, either. She’s led the bake-off reality series Nailed It! and the obstacle course challenge Wipeout.

Nicole Byer did have a role in Plaza’s 2016 comedy Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, so there is a connection between the host and guest. Plaza will be on to promote her new film Emily the Criminal.
