Anthony Edwards, a guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves, was fined $40,000 by the NBA on Tuesday for homophobic remarks on social media.

The punishment was made public by the league as a result of Edwards' use of "objectionable and abusive Language" in the removed IG video, which he later expressed regret.
