Lizzo Gets Candid About Social Media & Reveals Her Feelings About Beyoncé
The 34-year-old "Juice" superstar opened up in an interview for Elle UK about her new album, insecurities, navigating social media and her ongoing love for Beyoncé.
"I had to remember, when we come out of lockdown, people are going to be coming out of a depression. The end of lockdown does not signify the end of their mental health struggles.
So I wanted to make music that people can use as a soundtrack to survive," she explained of Special.
“I’ve seen Beyoncé up to 10 times live now, and she continues to give me that feeling. That excitement never goes away. She doesn’t just put out music for sake of putting out music
“It was hard for me to find meaning, being an entertainer, people were dying at a high rate. I had to remember when we come out of lockdown people will come out of a depression
