Gwyneth Paltrow Opens Up About Nepotism In Hollywood

Gwyneth Paltrow is opening up about how the industry, and many fans, treat children of famous people who want to go into the same line of work.

The 49-year-old actress and goop founder chatted with Hailey Bieber for an episode of her YouTube series

Who’s in my Bathroom?, and had some points to make about nepotism in Hollywood.

If you’re unaware, Gywneth is considered a nepotism baby herself, being the daughter of director Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner.

During the episode, Gwyneth said that celebrity kids aren’t as advantaged in the industry as some may think.

“As the child of someone, you get access other people don’t have, so the playing field is not level in that way,” she shared.

“However, I really do feel that once your foot is in the door, which you unfairly got in, then you almost have to work twice as hard and be twice as good.”

She continued, “Because people are ready to pull you down and say ‘You don’t belong there’ or ‘You are only there because of your dad or your mom.’”
