Grimes Sues Elon Musk Over Parental Rights for 3 Children
Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, has filed a "petition to establish parental relationship" in a California court regarding her three children with Elon Musk.
The purpose of the petition is to identify the legal parents of their children since they are unmarried.
The filings for the case have been sealed, and Elon Musk has not responded to Grimes' petition yet.
Grimes has not requested child support or custody rights at this time.
Grimes and Musk began dating in 2018 and officially ended their relationship in September 2021.
They have three children together: X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl (aka Y), and a son named Techno Mechanicus (affectionately called Tau).
Grimes recently pleaded on Twitter for Musk to allow her to see their son, citing their strained relationship.
Grimes and Musk's co-parenting situation has involved communication with journalist Shivon Zilis, with whom Musk shares twins Strider and Azure.
