Grant Gustin Calls Playing The Flash 'A True Honor' Following Final Season Announcement

Grant Gustin is speaking out after it was revealed that The Flash would be ending after nine seasons on The CW.

The 32-year-old actor has starred as the titular hero since the start of the DC Universe show.

The Flash will become the longest-running DC series on the network with nine seasons. The final season will feature 13 episodes, starting in 2023.

“Thank you to all our Flash fans who helped allow us to go this long. Let’s do one more run together. He captioned a video message.

“Hello everybody, by now maybe most of you have seen the news, maybe some of you haven’t. This week we announced that season nine of The Flash will be the final season.

“It’s been an incredible nearly 10 years of playing this character and getting to be a part of this show with an amazing cast and crew,” the star continued.
